With area play on the horizon, the Elmore County baseball team refused to lose any momentum to the break as they went out to Oxford to try their luck in a spring break experience tournament. ECHS played four games in two days, winning 3-of-4.Â

The Elmore County Panthers took a leadoff on area play last week, facing Class 5A Area 6 opponent Valley. The Panthers (6-9) faced Valley last Thursday, winning 21-8.Â
The Elmore County baseball team ran the gauntlet last week, with three games against high level opponents. On Thursday, the Panthers faced the Holtville Bulldogs for a rivalry game, winning 7-2 after seven innings of stiff competition.Â
